Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Collectors, Each year brings placements of works new and old, as we come close to entering my 50th year of casting my works into bronze. Each year includes works from my limited editions celebrating the figure in balance, motion, or repose as expressed in dance, sports, and beyond. I’ve always enjoyed the challenges of the portrait bust, whether from life or working from existing photographs and film or video, and pride myself in projecting each subject's inner qualities, bringing each portrait to life. This year, which included dance and sports bronzes added to private and university collections, was particularly rich in the placement of my “history” busts into prominent public collections coast to coast. Images of these busts are below, including their notable locations. Each of these busts is cast in bronze as needed in limited editions of 9, each one signed and numbered. The Theodore Roosevelt, Reagan, Churchill, Einstein, and Ali busts were sited through the philanthropic vision of Bart Kaufman, and internationally known appraiser Sharon Theobald. I wish to express my gratitude to these individuals, and to the prominent institutions who have enthusiastically sited my work.
